To report a barking dog: The animal control officers work 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily, with the exception of holidays. Your online report may not be read until the next business day. To report an issue with a barking dog during regular business hours, please call Animal Control at 720-733-6063. A 24/7 non-emergency line is available by calling Dispatch at 303-663-6100. Please be advised that if your barking complaint is submitted anonymously, an officer will respond to investigate. However, if no violation is witnessed by the officer, the dog owner will not be contacted. Please call Animal Control at 720-733-6063 if you have questions about problem resolution and enforcement actions.
For Excessive noise issues: The best approach for noise issues is to call the Castle Rock Police 24-hour non-emergency phone number, 303-663-6100, so an officer may address the issue while it is occurring. Information submitted through Report a Concern might not be viewed until the next day.
Burned out streetlights: The Town contracts with CORE Electric Cooperative (formerly IREA) to maintain street lights within your neighborhood. You can contact them at (833) CORE-FIX (267-3349). CORE does require an address where the streetlight is located so make sure you have that information when you call them.
